On the second-floor, front corner of The Captain's House, this quiet room has a newly renovated bathroom with a luxurious European body-spray shower with limestone tile. The room features a queen sized bed, mini fridge and Keurig coffee maker. This room is approximately 207 sf.
An 1830s whaling captain’s house built in the New England Federal Style this building contains ten guest rooms and several common areas for the use of all guests. The building features a roof deck for sunbathing and extravagant views of the harbor and town; a second-floor deck overlooking the in-ground whirlpool; and one of the three guest lounges on the property. This area has a gas fireplace in the living room, which is furnished in early American antiques, Shaker style chairs and reproductions. A trestle table surrounded by Windsor chairs fills the other end of the large room where a painted hutch houses a salt glazed pottery collection, board games and books.
