Spooky Bear and Costumes Galore!

October is in full swing, the leaves are changing and fall is absolutely here. This month offers so many awesome autumn activities to enjoy, parties to attend and people to meet. Get out with your friends and have some fun before the winter arrives!  Here are two really cool events in Provincetown that you need to check out;

Spooky Bear Weekend 2018

Grrr! Grrr! It’s Octobear and Spooky Bear Weekend is approaching fast! This year’s weekend, themed “Spooky Bear 2018: Law of the Jungle”, will be proudly sponsored by the Northeast Ursamen, a gay fraternal organization that provides bears and admirers opportunities to meet. A no-cover kick off meet and greet at the Crown & Anchor Wave Bar from 6-9pm will set the stage for the type of fun that only Provincetown offers for Halloween. You’ll be able to catch up with old acquaintances from last year’s Spooky Bear while meeting new friends and unwinding at the bar. At 7pm you may want to sneak over and catch the award winning Troupe Bearlesque as they perform “Scarelesque” at the Crown’s Cabaret. (Tickets start at $23.50). Saturday the weekend rollicking continues with Art’s Dune Tours (RSVP only), Shane Ruff – Bear Mart at the Boatslip Resort, and the Spooky Bear Costume Ball from 9pm to 1am at the Paramount. Get your bear squad together, perfect your jungle inspired costumes and get ready to trick or treat yourself to a wicked time in Provincetown!

Black and Gold Halloween Ball

If you like costume parties, dancing and epic nights out then the stage is set for the 1st Black & Gold Halloween Ball. From 8pm until midnight on Saturday, October 27th the Town Hall will be packed with costumed revelers enjoying the sounds of DJ Lina Bradford who has rocked some of best private parties in the world. Proceeds from this bash will benefit the Aids Support Group of Cape Cod. What else do you need to know? …Cash bar and buy tickets in advance here.

See you there!
